A notebook for slower days.
Short observations about walking, the weather, and noticing familiar places again.
The first quiet hour
Early streets have a different rhythm. A bakery opens its door, a cyclist passes, and the light moves from one side of the road to the other. A short walk is often enough to notice the change.
After the rain
Leaves hold the water long after the pavement begins to dry. On an overcast afternoon, the small differences between greens become easier to see.
Keeping a record
A date and a few sentences preserve more than a photograph alone. Write down the temperature, the route, and one thing that made you stop.
